Every Thursday fortnight during winter Hepburn Palais provides everything needed for a great Open Mic experience.  Whether you’re a seasoned pro or have never touched a microphone in your life, the stage is completely yours to try out your inner performer.

This will be our 4th Open Mic, and the feedback from everyone in the audience has been brilliant... "A great night of diverse entertainment, lots of laughs, great acts, and a great local vibe". 

If you want to be part of our Open Mic, it can be acoustic music, stand-up comedy, songs on the piano, or some poetry or storytelling.  We supply all the gear, so you literally just have to show up, put your name on the whiteboard, and get up whenever you feel the urge.

Open Mic is the perfect community cure for the winter blues, and so far our Open Mic has provided two great artists to get a gig as paid support for upcoming shows on the main satage!

Grab a friend, enjoy $10 drinks all night (only excluding cocktails), and come be part of a super welcoming crowd where absolutely anyone can have a go (or not!). Fireplace will be going, with all performances in the piano bar.

We provide:
Full PA system
Grand piano (if you want it)
Up to 3 microphones with mic stands
Dutch courage by way of $10 drinks
